The parable of the ten virgins is a stern warning against those who think they can slide into heaven on a technicality. The parable lets us know that we need to get our business fixed long before the last hour of your life. There is a great advantage in getting to know the Lord today! Mt Vernon Youth Worship Service!

Mt Vernon had its first Youth Worship Service on April 11th and it was a blast! The children had the opportunity to listen to contemporary gospel music from Mary Mary and others. We had young people to pray and conduct responsive reading as well.
The Ice Breaking concept was implemented during the service to get them engaged in a game that pointed to Jesus.
The message is the first of a series of messages on the Plan of Salvation. We are talking about the five P’s starting with the Problem: Sin.
I was an exciting time and we look forward to the Lord continuing to bless this service.
